We carefully chose the craftspeople and production components necessary to develop beautiful and striking timepieces. Incorporating the entire value chain of watchmaking and distribution, we ensure that our products are Swiss made in truest sense of the term — from working with suppliers of high-quality materials to specialist and artisans that manufacture each piece with utmost care and precision.

As early as the 19th century the watchmaking industry started to develop in Biel. Swatch, Rolex, Omega, Tissot, Movado and Mikron call Biel/Bienne their home and made it to one of the most important watchmaking centers in the world. Right next to it are other important watchmaking places such as Le Locle, La Chaux-de-Fonds and Neuchâtel. With our headquarters in this very heart of the industry, Monjour profits greatly from the local talent.

Masterful craftspeople have been educated and employed in the art of watchmaking in Switzerland since the 16th century. Constant innovation and steadiness lead them to become the best in the world. In 1926, the first wrist watch was produced and marked an important milestone for the industry. Today, there are over 700 companies forming part of the Swiss watch community, continuing to nurture artisans and their singular techniques and talents.
